This coming Saturday is the Vancouver Mural Festival!

Main Street is being closed off between Broadway & 11th for a street fair, and I’ll be there as a vendor, right near the corner of 10th Avenue & Main. Our old hood!

I’ve been working away on some new things, including some sewn zippy pouches with images of my paintings on them. The back of each is a mix of scrappy fabrics that coordinate with the front painting image’s colours.

I had the fabric printed at Spoonflower, on their linen cotton canvas ultra. They’ve changed the printing process for their linen to their “ultra” and it printed up super bright and clear, love it!

I have 20 all together, each design in limited quantity, for now. If they turn out to be a hit, I’ll get more printed up for my shop!

I’ll also have original paintings, handmade journals, more different variations on pouches including some dog walking pouches to carry your empty doggy poop bags, a key, debit card, etc. with a clip to clip onto a leash or belt loop, and some new pouches I designed that fit a standard size Moleskine journal, some made up in my very own fabric collection currently out with Robert Kaufman, Design Basics!

It’s supposed to be hot and sunny so it’ll be a lovely day to come out and buy some art and handmade goodies from all the different vendors (I’m currently eyeballing some pretty raw crystal pendants by a participating vendor, hmm hmm!). Hope to see you there!
