This little book is a big passion project, written and illustrated by me.
Comes signed by me, and with a free coordinating sticker!

The book started as a series of art I did as a personal art project, some sweary (and not) birds I called the “Dork Berbs”. I made them as small art pieces and sold them via my Instagram page and website, and people loved them! I wrote little stories to go with each one, and I got tons of comments and DM’s that I needed to create a book with them. Message received!

Fast forward a while and I got started writing “The Little Book of Ass-Kickery, with Love” featuring my bird buddies. I wrote it as kind of a loving note to a friend who might need a boost of happy, or inspiration, or a gentle (or not so gentle) nudge to make a tough decision in their life, or who might be going through a hard time, or just to lift their spirits and make them smile (or spit their coffee across the room with a big guffaw!). Something to make them feel seen, heard, and loved, even if it was something they had never shared or spoken about.

I’m known for my sweary art, so it made sense to make this little book sweary too, and give my people what they want! Heehee!

I designed and illustrated it in the same style as my birds, funny and silly, but also serious in it’s message.

I hope you love it just as much as I loved creating it!
