Where did July go?

I’ve been busy working on new pieces for my agent, Suzanne Cruise, as well as fabric, and various online art challenges.

Fabric for this week’s design challenge at Spoonflower, theme of cats. What is sillier that cats in bee costumes!
Find this fabric in my shop here

Pink Lemonade fabric, perfect for the warm days of summer. Also as a cool turquoise version, find both in my Spoonflower shop (pink) here and (blue) here.

A birthday card I created for an Instagram art challenge called #PortfolioClub, which is a monthly prompt from illustrators to create new art for your portfolio. I took this month’s “Circus” theme and ran with it, creating a birthday card for guys who dig strong beer and good birthdays!

Another call for entry challenge I entered with Uppercase Magazine, all around handlettering and how it can be used, as opposed to using a font.

And a personal piece I created. Sometimes you have to strip away everything and let your heart quietly bloom.
This one is now in my Society 6 shop on mugs, prints, and all the usual goodies!

I have some exciting news coming up that I can share next week, but in the mean time, you’ll find me preparing for the Art Market at Mission Arts Council Gallery, on August 10! I’ll have cards, pouches, and some more small art pieces and handmade items for sale!

More soon!

With much love and gratitude as always!
