I am so thrilled and excited to have one of my coloring designs in Stampington’s The Coloring Studio Summer 2016 magazine, my art appears right near the front, next to the editor’s letter, how cool is that!

It’s such a fun magazine, filled to brim with loads of art for you to color, as well as inspiring tips and tricks from some of the artists, including me!

Part of the fun is that I get to host a giveaway! Now, due to the maybe impending or maybe not Canada Post strike, and also being outside the U.S., I couldn’t do a giveaway of the actual physical magazine, but, the kind people at Stampington have arranged a special giveaway just for us,  including Canadians, international, the US, and beyond peeps, so awesome!

One lucky winner will win a digital copy of one my own personal favorites, Where Women Create, the Autumn 2015 issue – I have this one myself and it is so great, inspiring, and interesting, as all of the Where Women Create issues are.

(My dream would be to be featured in Where Women Create, hey you never know! Putting it out there. Wink wink!)

And the winner is Frances P! I have emailed you with your download code! I wish I could give prizes to everyone who entered but thank you for entering and visiting my blog!

So, to enter the giveaway, let us know by leaving a comment, what is your favorite coloring tool, media, or technique? Do you like watercolours? Pencil crayons? Markers? A wild and crazy mix of all different things?

Please leave an active email address with your comment so I can get in touch with the lucky winner!

I’ll draw and announce one lucky winner next week, on Wednesday July 20, which hey! Is also my birthday! Extra luck! The winner will receive a coupon code to download their free issue directly from Stampington.

In the meantime, if you want to get some coloring action on, you can purchase a copy of the magazine directly from Stampington here.

I also have a free coloring page you can download in pdf format, just check under the link “Free Stuff” right up there at the top of this screen!

Good luck!

Oops forgot to mention that I wanted to try chalk when colouring but haven’t found the courage to actually experiment yet. Maybe one day soon.

My favourite colouring tool are watercolour pencils – they can give so many different effects and don’t feel so restrictive. I am “reimagining” my space as I move out of work-focus to life, sports, volunteering and craft focus – would love the inspiration from this magazine!
